  • What motivated you to join this partnership?

Behavioural insights are perfectly aligned with Manulife’s innovation and agile transformation mandates and strategic objectives to live and breathe our core value of “Customer Obsession”. 

  • What aspect of the research agenda are you most excited about?

We are looking to achieve a nuanced understanding of what is the psychological perception of risk in our industry, how to apply the behaviour change approach to improve the content and delivery of our financial literacy and wellbeing initiatives, and how to embed and evangelize behavioural insights in our organization.   

  • How do you plan to use the results from the research coming out of the partnership?

We expect to benefit from this partnership at both strategic and tactical levels. We are constantly refining our innovation pipelines to incorporate research findings from this partnership. We hope to develop our own competence in improving our products and services and find behavioural insights talents for our company.
